Andrew Janisse

Andrew Janisse is an Application Support Engineer at TA Instruments since October 2020, having previously served as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Southern Mississippi from August 2010 to May 2019. During the doctoral program in Polymer Science and High Performance Materials, Andrew developed a real-time near infrared spectroscopy technique for monitoring network growth and analyzed the cure path dependence of epoxy-amine thermosets. Additional responsibilities included leading projects on thermoplastic urethane elastomers, synthesizing novel thiol-ene networks, and mentoring undergraduate and high school students in research. Andrew holds a PhD from the University of Southern Mississippi and a BS in Material Science and Engineering from the University of Florida.
