Shokoufeh Mirzaei

Shokoufeh Mirzaei is a Professor and Chair at California State Polytechnic University-Pomona, serving in this role since September 2012, with prior positions as an Associate and Assistant Professor in Industrial Engineering. Mirzaei is also the Regional Vice President for the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers since April 2022 and Co-Founder & Chief Scientist at Taba since October 2019. Previous experience includes a visiting faculty role at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory and a Senior Analytics Consultant position at CGN & Associates, where expertise involved data mining, optimization, and machine learning. Earlier career roles include project planning and control in construction with Mammut and Rahshar International Group, following education culminating in a PhD in Industrial Engineering from Wichita State University.
