Luis E Campbell has a diverse and extensive work experience in supply chain management. Luis E is currently the Vice President of Supply Chain at TABACALERA USA Inc. Luis E previously held the role of Vice President - Supply Chain Operations at FreshDirect from 2013 to 2022. During their time at FreshDirect, they also served as the Sr. Director Inbound Supply Chain, where they led a transformation project and achieved significant improvements in inventory accuracy, warehouse capacity, and operation throughput. Prior to FreshDirect, Luis worked at Crocs, Inc as a Senior Operations Manager and Senior Distribution Manager, where they implemented WMS system functionality and managed distribution operations for the North America market. Luis E started their career at Panasonic as a Distribution Manager, where they redesigned process-deficient operations and managed a large distribution center with responsibilities in routing, transportation, purchasing, and supply chain strategy. Before that, Luis worked as an Operations Supervisor at Ravisa México SC.
Luis E Campbell completed their high school education from Missouri Military Academy, obtaining a High School Diploma from 1993 to 1995. Following this, they pursued higher education at The University of Texas at Austin from 1995 to 2000, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on International Business.

Deep Roots: In 1636, the company that would become Tabacalera Company, and from which today’s Tabacalera USA gets its name, was launched in Spain. From these almost 400 year old roots, Tabacalera USA unites the essence of history, farming, manufacturing and marketing excellence -- reflecting the very best of tradition and expertise as the oldest tobacco company in the world. Manufacturing Milestone: 1758 - A major milestone for the Tabacalera Company. During this year, the company opened doors to its first factory: The Royal Factory of Sevilla. At the time, the factory was the second largest building in Spain, only surpassed in size by a royal residence. Tobacco Monopolies 1887- Before Tabacalera S.A. was formed, the company was crowned Compañía Arrendataria de Tabacos, a publicly traded Spanish tobacco monopoly. The Future : 1945 - Compañía Arrendataria de Tabacos controlled the tobacco monopoly in Spain for years, through the Spanish Civil War, and through to the early 1940s. In 1945, in response to new laws, the limited company, Tabacalera Sociedad Anonima, was formed. Tabacalera S.A. paved the way for the future structure and success of the company. Altadis Is Born: 2000 - Tabacalera S.A. and French tobacco company, Seita, merged to form a new company: Altadis. Altadis was set to be the biggest tobacco company in Europe. The merger created a new tobacco firm, big enough to compete with the industry's toughest rivals of the day. Premium Cigar Market 2013: Imperial Tobacco Group, after acquiring Altadis in 2008, restored the name Tabacalera to its Premium Cigar Division, maintaining Tabacalera a top leader in the premium cigar market and staying true to its roots. Tabacalera Today : In 2015, Tabacalera USA was formed. The company oversees the premium cigar businesses in the United States, which is the world's largest premium cigar market. Tabacalera USA’s business units include Altadis U.S.A., JR Cigar, and Casa de Montecristo.
