Mark Hickman

Mark Hickman has extensive work experience in the field of academia and research. Mark is currently working as the Director of Data Science at Tabula Rasa HealthCare. Previously, they held the role of Senior Application Developer at the University of Pennsylvania from 2018 to 2022.

Prior to that, Mark Hickman worked in various teaching and research positions. Mark was a Visiting Professor at Rowan University from 2018 to 2019, an Associate Professor from 2017 to 2018, and an Assistant Professor from 2012 to 2017. Mark also served as a Visiting Assistant Professor at The College of New Jersey from 2011 to 2012.

Mark Hickman's research experience includes positions at Princeton University as a Postdoctoral Research Associate from 2009 to 2012, and at Harvard Medical School as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow from 2004 to 2009. Mark completed their Ph.D. in 2003 at Harvard University, where they worked as a graduate student from 1996 to 2003.

In addition, Mark Hickman worked as a Visiting Teaching Professor at Kathmandu University Medical School from 2000 to 2001, where they developed and implemented a curriculum for a new medical school in collaboration with physicians and scientists from Nepal and the United States.

Mark Hickman obtained their education from renowned institutions. From 1993 to 1996, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biochemistry at Bowdoin College. Following this, they attended Harvard University from 1996 to 2003, where they successfully completed a Ph.D. in Biological Sciences in Public Health. Recently, in November 2022, Mark acquired a certification in Cybersecurity Awareness: Cybersecurity Terminology from LinkedIn.
