Francesco Muraca has an extensive background in scientific research and development. Francesco is currently working as a Scientist specializing in cell line development at Tacalyx GmbH since November 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Postdoctoral Researcher at Heidelberg University from November 2019 to October 2022. Before that, Francesco was a PhD student at the Centre for BioNano Interactions (CBNI), University College Dublin from May 2015 to November 2019. Francesco began their research career as a Master Thesis Student at Università degli Studi di Padova from October 2013 to September 2014.

Francesco Muraca has an extensive education background in the field of biotechnology and nanobiotechnology. Francesco earned their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Nanobiotechnology from University College Dublin, where they studied from 2015 to 2019. Prior to that, they completed a Master's Degree in Industrial Biotechnology at Università degli Studi di Padova from 2012 to 2014.

Francesco also holds two Bachelor's Degrees, both in Biotechnology. Francesco obtained their first Bachelor's Degree from Università degli Studi di Padova, where they studied from 2009 to 2012. During this period, they also spent a year (2011-2012) at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, pursuing their Bachelor's Degree there as well.

In addition to their formal education, Francesco has acquired additional certifications to complement their knowledge and skills. Francesco completed a Project Management course at Udemy in September 2022, and a GMP basic course at GMP Academy in March 2022.
