Galen Palmer

Galen Palmer is a highly experienced software engineer with a diverse background in various technical roles across multiple companies. Currently serving as a Staff Software Engineer at Tackle.io since May 2022, Galen has previously held positions including Technical Software Manager at Philips, Dev Manager for Go Language Teams at Contrast Security, and Senior Software Engineer at SurfWatch Labs, where leadership in Ruby on Rails and Ember.js development was emphasized. Additional experience includes roles as Systems Architect at Red Alpha, Senior Software Engineer at Six3Systems, and Technical Director at IMRE, where Galen led development teams and worked with technologies such as PHP, Java, and Ruby on Rails. Galen co-founded 4Syndication.com, designed a SAAS blogging application, and has a solid foundation in Java and Sybase from earlier positions at Triton Services and McDonald Bradley.
