April Black

April Black is an experienced housing authority professional currently serving as the Executive Director of Tacoma Housing Authority since July 2009, having previously held roles including Deputy Executive Director and Director of Real Estate Management and Housing Services. Prior experience includes serving as Director of Housing Services at Bremerton Housing Authority from May 2005 to July 2009 and working as a Housing Specialist at Missoula Housing Authority from January 2002 to January 2005. April Black holds a Project Management Certification and a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification from the University of Washington, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Communication Studies from the University of Montana.
