Michelle Brown

Michelle Brown, MBA, has over 29 years of professional experience in financial analysis, portfolio strategy, and customer service. Michelle started their career as a Customer Service Representative at Safeco Insurance in 1992. Michelle then moved on to various roles at Russell Investments, including Transition Portfolio Analyst, Sr. Quantitative Analyst, and finally, Sr. Portfolio Strategy Analyst, where they analyzed portfolios for high net worth and non-profit clients. In 2015, Michelle joined Tacoma Power as a Power Financial Planning Analyst and eventually progressed to the role of Lead Financial Planning Analyst in 2021.

Michelle Brown obtained their Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Finance and Accounting from the University of Arizona in 1991. Michelle went on to pursue a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at the University of Washington, completing their degree in 2020.
