Ram Veeraraghavan

Ram Veeraraghavan serves as the Project Delivery and Support Services Manager at Tacoma Power since November 2013, overseeing project delivery, portfolio management, and business services for Power Generation. Previously, Ram held the position of Electrical Engineering Supervisor at Tacoma Power, leading the electrical engineering group responsible for operational support and capital projects related to multiple hydroelectric power plants and fish hatcheries. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Electrical Engineer at MWH Global, focusing on hydro power, substation design, and reliability analysis, as well as engineering positions at ComEd and Siemens that involved equipment reliability and circuit breaker design and testing. Educational credentials include a Master's Degree in Power from the Illinois Institute of Technology, Utility Management and Business Essentials certificates from Willamette University and the University of Washington Tacoma, along with a Professional Development course in substation design from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from the University of Mumbai.
