Martha Parrish currently serves as a Kindergarten Teacher at Tacoma Public Schools since November 2020. Prior to this role, Martha held various management positions in the hospitality industry, including Assistant Director of Housekeeping at Fairmont Olympic Hotel, where oversight of housekeeping, laundry, and fitness center operations was a key responsibility. Martha also improved guest satisfaction metrics as Guest Experience Manager, and served as Assistant Front Office Manager, ensuring smooth arrivals and departures for hotel guests. Earlier experience includes positions as Guest Services Manager at Washington Athletic Club and Housekeeping & Laundry Supervisor at Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts. Martha began professional endeavors as an International Intern for ANFASEP in Peru. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Curriculum and Instruction from Western Governors University and a Bachelor of Arts in Latin American and Caribbean Studies from the University of Washington.
