Brian Gatewood Sr

Brian Gatewood Sr is an experienced professional dedicated to community service and support. Currently serving as a Certified Peer Counselor at Washington State Health Care Authority since August 2024, Brian utilizes personal experiences to assist individuals in mental health and substance use recovery. As President of Innovative Change Makers, a nonprofit organization founded in July 2022, Brian works to provide mentorship and alternatives to hazardous lifestyles. Additionally, Brian holds roles as Male Involvement Program Manager at TACOMA URBAN LEAGUE and Site Host at Tacoma Rescue Mission, both focused on youth and family support. Since 2010, Brian has owned Innovative Network Krew and has held various positions in education and security, including Facilitator at Roosevelt Alumni for Racial Equity and Academic Interventionist at Urban League of Metropolitan Seattle.
