Caroline Mallick-Wood

Associate Director, Scientific Program Management at Taconic

Caroline Mallick-Wood began their work experience in 2010 as a Geneticist at Taconic Biosciences, where they provided genetic training to personnel and supported project management. Caroline then transitioned to the role of Scientific Program Manager, managing customer relationships and articulating the value proposition of Taconic Contract Breeding Solutions. From 2017, Caroline served as the Associate Director of Scientific Program Management at Taconic Biosciences, leading the global team and overseeing general management activities. Prior to Taconic Biosciences, they worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biological Sciences at SUNY Ulster from 2009 to 2017.

Caroline Mallick-Wood holds a Bachelor's Degree in Biological Research from the University of Scranton, obtained in 1990. Caroline then went on to earn a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Developmental Biology and Epithelial T Cell Immunology from Yale University in 1998. Following this, they completed a Post Doctoral Fellowship at Yale University in Developmental Biology and Epithelial Immunology from 1998 to 1999. More recently, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, Consulting, and Strategy at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 2017 to 2019. Additionally, Caroline has a Master Certificate in Applied Project Management from Villanova University.
