Pat Whiffen

Pat Whiffen, PMP, currently serves as the Maintenance Execution Manager at Tacora Resources Inc. since August 2025. Prior experience includes roles at Rio Tinto from February 2017 to August 2025, where responsibilities encompassed Superintendent of Pellet Plant Maintenance, Project Manager for Projects & Engineering, and Shutdown Coordinator for Processing Operations. Additionally, Pat worked as Construction Manager at Marshall Industries Limited from September 2011 to January 2017, overseeing a variety of projects in structural, civil, and mechanical disciplines, and managed scope, resources, scheduling, and budget tracking. Earlier experience includes roles as Site Manager and General Foreman at Supermetal Structures Inc., with a focus on project execution and construction oversight. Pat holds a Certified Journeyman Interprovincial Certificate in Welding Technology from Keyano College and attended Memorial University in 2016.
