Kimo Buckon has a diverse work experience starting from 1999 until the present. Kimo has held various roles in different companies and organizations. In their most recent position, they serve as the Chief Operating Officer at Tropic Ocean Airways since October 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Chief Revenue Officer at Tactical Air Support, Inc. and also served as a Senior Systems Analyst / Program Manager at the same company. Kimo has previous experience as a Client Manager at Check-6, Inc. from 2012 to 2015. Before working in the private sector, they held positions in the U.S. Fleet Forces Command, Strike Fighter Squadron 31, The Joint Staff, Joint Staff, and TOPGUN in various roles such as Chief of Staff, Commanding Officer, Operations Analyst, and Training Officer.
Kimo Buckon obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Structural Engineering from UC San Diego, during the years 1986 to 1991. Following this, from 2010 to 2012, they pursued a Master's degree in Engineering Management from Old Dominion University.
