Angela Chan

Angela Chan has been working in the technology industry since 1995. Angela began their career as a Network Engineer at MCI and then moved on to Comverse Network Systems, where they held the roles of Software Engineer and System Test Engineer. In 2010, they joined GMA Health Information Technology as a Software Engineer. Finally, in 2014, they became Lead Developer at The Tactile Group, where they were responsible for leading a team on web application development, maintaining and developing Dept. of Ed. website using PHP, Expression Engine and MySQL, designing and creating web application framework and database schemas, and creating and maintaining documentation including system, specifications and requirements.

Angela Chan holds a Master of Engineering Science in Software Engineering from Penn State Great Valley, obtained in 2003, and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Drexel University, obtained between 1992 and 1995. Angela also holds two certifications from Amazon in partnership with Alpine Testing Solutions: an AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate, obtained in January 2019, and an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, obtained in November 2018.
