André Petry

André Petry has a wealth of experience in the business world, having worked at nine different companies since 2015. André began their career at Helpling (Rocket Internet) in 2015 as a Business Development employee. André then moved to Lazada Group (Alibaba Group) in the same year, taking on the role of Business Intelligence. In 2016, they worked at both SAP and Deloitte Digital, as a Products & Innovation employee and Venture Architecture employee respectively. The following year, they joined The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) as a Management Consulting employee. In 2018, they worked at the appliedAI Initiative - UnternehmerTUM as an AI Strategy employee. In 2019, they took on roles at both ORBEM GmbH as a Machine Learning Engineering employee and UVC Partners as an Investment Team employee. Finally, in 2020, they co-founded and became the CEO of Tacto, a company that builds sustainable supply chains by future-proofing industrial procurement.

André Petry began their education in 2013, earning a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) from the University of Mannheim. In 2015, they were a Visiting Student at Chulalongkorn University. André then earned an Honours Degree from the Center for Digital Technology and Management (CDTM) in 2017-2018. From 2018-2019, they were a Visiting Student at the University of California, Berkeley, and they earned a Master of Science (M.Sc.) from the Technical University of Munich in 2017-2019.
