Johannes Groll

Johannes Groll has a diverse work experience. In 2016, they began working as a Research at SILVER ATENA Electronic Systems Engineering GmbH. In 2017, they moved to KINEXON as a Product and Project Manager, where they developed modern sensor solutions for the industry 4.0. In 2019, they worked as a Data Analyst at Acrai and a Deployment Strategist at Palantir Technologies, where they learned rapidly about analyzing and evaluating Big Data. Currently, Johannes Groll is the Co-Founder and CPO of Tacto, an intelligent purchasing system for industrial SMEs. With Tacto, industrial companies can digitalize their purchasing processes in a single tool. The AI-based software supports companies with data-driven understanding of their purchasing activities, identifying potential for improvement, managing suppliers, and automating price requests.

Johannes Groll began their education in 2013, when they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology from the Technical University of Munich. In 2016, they completed an Honors Degree in Technology Management at the Center for Digital Technology and Management (CDTM). In 2017, they completed a Visiting Student Researcher at UC Berkeley, School of Information and also completed a course in Information and Communications Technology at the University of Agder (UiA). Finally, in 2020, they earned a Master of Science (MS) in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology from the Technical University of Munich.
