MiHee Kim

MiHee Kim has worked in various roles since 2002. Her first job was as a Fashion Designer at Hyunin, Inc. in 2002, where they designed various garments under the direction of the senior fashion designer, sketched rough drawings for new design, and wrote specifications such as color, material type, and construction. In 2003, they worked as a Fashion Designer, Knit wear at May Collection, designing the various women's apparel, managing production lines and shipping orders with the senior fashion designer, and producing flats, patterns, grading, fabric sources, trim sources, and production fittings. In 2005, they worked as a Fashion Designer, Kintwear and Assistant Manager at Herb, Inc., designing custom garments especially women's apparel, managing production lines and shipping orders from overseas with the manager, and implementing new production workflows to better improve the design team. In 2009, they worked as a Library Assistant Staff at Owens Community College, answering general questions about library resources and services, copy cataloguing and collection maintenance, and assisting librarians with a variety of other tasks. In 2012, they worked as a Web & Graphic Designer at Wevio | Global Business Development Company, creating logos, websites, publications, banner designs, and photo retouching, meeting with clients and summarizing their needs, and managing projects from beginning to end. Finally, in 2016, they began working as a UI/UX Designer at TAD Associates, developing new features and user flows through user research, wireframe, conceptualization, and usability standards, creating digital media and mobile products, and producing sketches, graphics, templates, layouts, themes, typography, and visual standards.

MiHee Kim has a Bachelor of Technology from CUNY New York City College of Technology in Communication Design/Web Design, a Certificate from Kook-Jae Institute for Fashion Industries in Fashion Design, and an Associate of Applied Science from Owens Community College in Commercial Art Technology.
