Blom Bruce has a diverse work experience spanning from 1981 to the present. Blom began their career as an assembler at GM Holden in 1981 and then moved on to become an Airframe fitter at the Royal Australian Air Force in 1982. After serving in the Air Force for six years, they joined TAE as a Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer and turbine technician in 1988. In 2000, they transitioned to TAE Aviation, where they held the position of Cheif Engineer for a decade until 2010.
Blom Bruce attended Modbury High School from 1975 to 1979, where they pursued High School/Secondary Certificate Programs. In 1980, they enrolled in the South Australian Institute of Technology and studied Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
