Jonas Skattum Svegaarden

Jonas Skattum Svegaarden is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in impact investing and ocean sustainability. Since April 2020, Jonas has served as the Chief Executive Officer and General Partner at Katapult Ocean, the leading investor in early-stage ocean impact companies. Additionally, Jonas is the Chief Investment Officer and Partner at Katapult and holds board positions with the Norwegian National Advisory Board for Impact Investing and Ocean Rainforest. With a strong commitment to supporting ocean startups, Jonas is also a Steering Committee Member of the 1000 Ocean Startups Coalition and an Official Nominator for The Earthshot Prize. Recently, in October 2023, Jonas became a Founding Member of The Conduit Oslo and an Ambassador for The Animal Fund, further demonstrating a dedication to environmental preservation. As a Climate Reality Leader, Jonas promotes awareness of the climate crisis through grassroots efforts. Jonas holds a Master's degree in Business and Economics with a focus on Finance from BI Norwegian Business School.
