Mark Champion

Mark Champion is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in information and communication technology governance, security, and risk management. Currently serving as Head of Systems Group Governance and Head of ICT Governance, Security and Risk at TAFE NSW since January 2015, Mark has established a clear governance framework utilizing COBIT, IT4IT, and ISO 38500. Previous roles include Chief Technology Officer and Chief Information Officer at TAFE NSW and Australian Government Solicitor, where Mark led various large organizational change programs to align ICT services with business needs. Additionally, Mark has held key positions at Port Macquarie-Hastings Council, IP Australia, and Spherion, focusing on leadership, governance, project management, and service delivery enhancements. Mark's educational background includes a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from the University of Canberra and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Sydney.
