Julie Pisano

Julie Pisano has extensive work experience in the education and training sector. Julie is currently the Director of Strategic Industry Partnerships at TAFE SA, where they serve as a trusted advisor to multiple stakeholders in the organization and naval shipbuilding industry. Julie has a strong background in training needs analysis and has developed, delivered, and evaluated training programs specifically for the defense industries, with a focus on naval shipbuilding. Prior to their current role, Julie worked as a Principal Lecturer at TAFE SA, where they utilized their industry expertise to develop and evaluate learning programs for defense industries. Before joining TAFE SA, Julie worked as a Training & Development Officer at Flinders University, where they identified training needs, provided training solutions, and evaluated outcomes for various divisions within the organization. Julie also designed and developed e-learning courses and specific programs to address the needs of work teams and divisions. Julie began their career as a Lecturer/Industry Consultant at TafeSA, where they worked with industry partners to develop, design, facilitate, and evaluate learning programs, with a focus on management and public sector qualifications. Julie also had a 12-month placement with Flinders University during this time. Julie Pisano has a Bachelor of Education, specializing in Adult, Vocational & Workplace Learning, from the University of South Australia. Julie also completed a Diploma of Project Management from TAFE SA and obtained a Graduate Certificate in Education (Digital Learning) from the University of South Australia. Recently, they completed a Professional Certificate in Defence Industry Leadership at the University of Adelaide.
