Garrett McDaniel

Garrett McDaniel is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in public affairs, political consulting, and government operations. Currently serving as the Director of Public Affairs at Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP since June 2024, Garrett also founded and leads Sinew Solutions, a political consulting firm established in July 2020. Previous roles include Director of Executive Scheduling & Operations for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development from May 2021 to May 2024 and Public Policy Chair for the South Carolina State University National Alumni Association from November 2018 to January 2023. Garrett's political involvement includes serving on the Laurens County Council and managing campaigns, including the Moe Brown for Congress campaign. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Transportation Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering Technology from South Carolina State University, supplemented by certificates in Economic Development and political fellowships.
