Head Of Games Design at Tag Games

Brek Carr has extensive work experience in the gaming industry. Brek began their career as an Artist and Designer at Caveman Arts in 2003 before transitioning to Freelance work in 2004. As a Freelancer, Brek worked on various projects, including creating art assets and models for games like "Techno-tots" and "Gumshoe Online: Web of Mystery." In 2004, they joined Denki as a Design Specialist, where they worked on 45 full games over a span of six years. During this time, Brek honed their design skills and knowledge working closely with industry veterans. Brek then joined Proper Games Ltd. in 2010 as a Designer, where they led the design of the "Yo Deshi" puzzle game and collaborated with Ruffian Games on the "Crackdown 2" DLC packs. In 2011, Brek joined Tag Games as a Senior Games Designer, where they were responsible for leading design and client liaison for "Moshi Monsters Village" and securing new projects through pitches. Brek later became the Head of Games Design at Tag Games in 2012.

Brek Carr attended Abertay University from 1998 to 1999, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Computer Games Technologies And Virtual Environments. Brek then continued their education at Abertay University from 1999 to 2003, earning a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Computer Arts.
