Josef Auberger

Josef Auberger is an experienced professional in technology and project management, currently serving as the Head of Technology and Project Management at Trans Austria Gasleitung GmbH since April 2017. Previously, Auberger held positions including Head of Technical Department in the "Distretto Bologna" at Snam Rete Gas and Deputy to the Head of Operations & Maintenance at Trans Austria Gasleitung GmbH, where responsibilities included managing a merger, optimizing processes, and overseeing maintenance strategy for a gas transmission system. Auberger’s extensive background also encompasses leadership roles at Gas Connect Austria and OMV Refining & Marketing GmbH, where Auberger managed operations for major gas and electric power portfolios and led cross-functional teams. Auberger began the career as a Process Engineer at ANDRITZ and holds a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Technology, Vienna.
