Biruk Dawit

Biruk Dawit started their work experience in 2012 as a Mathematics Tutor at Mr. K's Tuition Centre, where they were responsible for setting up the center, organizing teaching materials, and teaching subjects such as Mathematics, Physics, and English. In 2014, they worked as a Barista at EAT., where they focused on providing efficient and high-quality customer service. In 2015, they joined FDM Group as an IT Consultant, and later that year, they also started working as a Software Developer at Barclays Investment Bank. At Barclays, they worked until 2020 and was involved in software development. Since 2020, Biruk has been working as a Software Engineer at Taggstar.

Biruk Dawit completed their Master of Science (MS) degree in Applied Computer Science from the University of Brighton from 2017 to 2019. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Mathematics from Lancaster University between 2012 and 2015. Biruk Dawit's education journey began at Lister Community School, where they achieved 8 A*-C GCSEs (including A* in Maths and A in English) from 2007 to 2010.
