Inês Mena Silva

Inês Mena Silva has a diverse work experience in the field of art direction and graphic design. Inês began their career in 2018 as a freelance graphic designer with Brave New World, where they worked from September to December. In 2019, Inês worked as a freelance graphic designer at Root Studio London from March to June. Following this, they joined Modern Matter Magazine - OMO Creates Studio as a digital designer from January to December. In October 2019, Inês also took on the role of Art Director at TAGWALK, where they eventually became the Head of Art Direction in August 2022. Inês' expertise lies in art direction, digital design, and graphic design.

Inês Mena Silva's education history includes various academic experiences in different fields and institutions. In 2014, they pursued a Foundation Diploma in Art & Design with a focus on Graphic Design at the University of the Arts London. From 2015 to 2018, they attended the University of the Arts London, earning a BA (Hons) in Graphic and Communication Design. In 2017, Inês participated in an exchange program at the Royal Academy of Art, The Hague | Koninklijke Academie van Beeldende Kunsten (KABK), where they specialized in Graphic Design. During that same year, they also took a Short Course on Listening and Looking at Leiden University, emphasizing Art Criticism. In 2020, they enrolled in a High Impact Online Course at IE University Lifelong Learning, focusing on Digital Business: New Technologies for Innovation.
