Jake Dorst

Jake Dorst is an accomplished healthcare executive with extensive experience in information technology and leadership roles. As Chief Information and Innovation Officer at Tahoe Forest Hospital District since September 2014, Jake successfully led the implementation of the Epic community connect EHR model, enhancing information sharing and reducing complexity within the organization. Previously, Jake served as Interim Chief Executive Officer and Chief Information Officer, where negotiations with providers took place. Earlier roles include Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Meritus Health, Chief Information Officer at Southside Regional Medical Center—where a significant relocation project was completed smoothly—and various IT leadership positions at Community Health Systems and The Kings Daughters Hospital. Jake holds an MBA in Business Administration and Management from Saint Leo University and a BS in Biology from Christopher Newport University.
