Filip Buggenhout

Filip Buggenhout currently serves as the Chief Information and Innovation Officer at DP World since October 2023. Prior to this role, Filip has been with Barry Callebaut Group since October 2013, initially as Corporate Engineering Manager for Automation and later as Director of Innovation and Technology, focusing on driving innovation in operations and supply chain across over 50 plants worldwide. Key achievements include enhancing quality, productivity, and service reliability through technology, process engineering, and digitalization initiatives. Filip's experience also encompasses significant roles at Siemens from 1998 to 2013, including Business Unit Group Manager and Technical Project Manager, managing large-scale international automation projects with a strong focus on the metals industry. Education includes a Master’s degree in Electromechanics - Automation from Katholieke Hogeschool 'Sint-Lieven' and multiple management courses from Vlerick Business School and Siemens.
