Dr Bandar Suliman is a distinguished professional in the field of clinical science and laboratory management, currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer and Senior Business Development Consultant at Alfa Medical Lab since September 2022. With extensive experience as an Associate Professor and Consultant Clinical Scientist at Taibah University since 2008, Dr Bandar has held roles such as Vice Chairman of the Center for Genetic & Inherent Diseases and former Dean of the College of Applied Medical Sciences. Currently, Dr Bandar chairs the Council for the Saudi Laboratory Specialist Licensure Examination at the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties and is a member of the Scientific Advisory Committee for the Medical Devices Sector at the SFDA. Dr Bandar founded the first independent medical lab in the Madinah region to achieve CAP accreditation and has previously held positions in renowned institutions, including an adjunct scientist role at King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre. Dr Bandar holds a PhD in Medicine from Monash University and an ESME Certificate in Medical Education from the University of Dundee.
