Sergei Bastrakov

Sergei Bastrakov is currently the Technical Lead AI and Principal HPC Engineer at Taiga Cloud. Prior to this role, Sergei was an HPC Systems Engineer at Northern Data AG and a Research Scientist (Postdoc) at Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf (HZDR). With a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Computer Science, Sergei has extensive experience in particle-in-cell code development and optimization of GPU cloud platforms for AI and HPC workloads.
