Dmitri Ignakov

Dmitri Ignakov has extensive work experience in the robotics field. In 2015, they co-founded Taiga Robotics Corp. and served as the CEO. At the same time, they worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Ryerson University. In this role, they played a crucial role in transitioning multiple robotic systems to a unified software architecture (ROS). Dmitri also wrote and modified drivers to ensure the proper functionality of each robot and created documentation for the new system.

Dmitri Ignakov completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Aerospace Engineering at Ryerson University from 2003 to 2007. Following this, they pursued a higher level of education and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Aerospace Engineering from Ryerson University, spanning from 2007 to 2013.
