Alessia Piccirilli

Alessia Piccirilli has a diverse work experience in the legal field, specializing in contract management and legal affairs for clinical trials and research. Alessia started their career as a Stage at the law firm NCTM. Alessia then worked at Abbott, where they collaborated with the Clinical Development Team in submission and updates of clinical studies to Ethics Committees and Competent Authorities, as well as preparing and executing Clinical Studies Agreements. Alessia also provided field support for clinical studies submission and follow-up. Alessia then joined Covance, where they worked as an Associate in Global Study Start-up, coordinating study start-up, maintenance, and closure, drafting and negotiating contracts, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Alessia later joined inVentiv Health as a Specialist in Global Study Start-up, where they managed the entire start-up process, including contract negotiation and execution, mentoring and training junior resources, and legal document development. Alessia then transitioned to the role of Legal Senior Contracts Associate and Contracts Lead at inVentiv Health Commercial, where they coordinated legal aspects of clinical trials at an international level and developed and reviewed legal documents related to clinical trials. Alessia then worked as the Manager of Legal Affairs R&D at Helsinn Group, where they managed all legal activities related to the Scientific Operations Divisions, including legal review and approval of various agreements. Currently, they are working as a Legal Manager, Contracts at Taiho Oncology, Inc., where they are responsible for managing international clinical contracts and coordinating internal contract review processes.

Alessia Piccirilli began their education in 2002 at Northern High School, where they obtained their High School End of Year Diploma in 2003. Subsequently, they pursued their higher education at Luiss Guido Carli University from 2005 to 2010, earning a Master's degree in Law.
