Tailwind’s seaplanes are amphibious- so they can land and take off on both water and airport runways. In Manhattan, flights depart and land on the East River at 23rd Street, meaning you do not have to spend the time and money getting to LaGuardia for a flight. In Boston and Washington, D.C., we land at private terminals at Boston’s Bedford HanscomField, Dulles and COMING SOON Philadelphia International Airport July 1st . There are no crowds or security lines at any of the terminals where we operate, and you only need to check-in 20 minutes prior to take-off. At Tailwind, we value your time as much as you do.
