Helen Virt has worked in a variety of roles since 2014. Helen began their career as a Contractor Translator for the American Councils for International Education in 2014 and then moved on to become an Organising Manager for AboutHR - a recruiting agency. In 2015, they became a Project Manager and Board Member on Fundraising for the European Youth Parliament - Ukraine. In 2016, they worked as a Partnerships and Fundraising Manager for BRAINTV, a Chair of the Regional Development Council for the European Youth Parliament, a Business Development Manager for uSupport.in.ua, and a Junior Translation Fellow for the Association4U project for the EU Delegation to Ukraine. In 2018, they worked as a Chief Business Development Officer and Head of Business Development for both Taimi: LGBTQ+ Dating App and Hily - Dating App. Most recently in 2021, they became a Member of the Council for Women In Dating.

Helen Virt attended Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv from 2011 to 2015, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in International Business. Helen then returned to the same university from 2015 to 2017, where they earned a Master's degree in International Business and Translation. During this time, they also attended the University of Warsaw as an exchange student, studying International Relations and Affairs from 2016 to 2017. In 2013, they took Business English classes in grammar and speaking at Stanton School of English.
