Anna Tompkins, CSP, has extensive experience in mechanical integration and rigging, currently serving as a Mechanical Integrator and Support Integrator at TAIT since June 2021. Concurrently, Anna has been involved with The Game of Life as a Proud Hufflepuff since May 2020 and holds certifications as a Certified Safety Professional and Associate Safety Professional from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals since March 2016. Freelance work began in December 2019, adding diverse projects in entertainment, including roles as an Automation Technician with Cirque du Soleil Entertainment Group and an Acrobatic Rigger with Virgin Voyages. Past experiences include significant positions such as Lead Rigger for Kung Fu Panda at The Venetian and Senior Rigging Technician at MGM Resorts International. Anna completed a BFA in Technical Direction from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts and a high school diploma in Technical Theatre from Douglas Anderson School of The Arts.
