Niko Kumpu

Niko Kumpu is an experienced Senior Software Engineer currently working at Taitopilvi Oy since August 2022. Prior roles include serving as a Senior Developer at Solteq Oyj from March 2018 to August 2022, focusing on software development projects for the retail and energy sectors, with expertise in Node microservices, React UI, and Java integration services. At Oy Samlink Ab, from September 2016 to March 2018, Niko held the position of Senior System Designer and Scrum Master, working on finance sector projects involving mobile applications and Spring Boot development. Niko spent over a decade at Tieto, where responsibilities included being a Lead Software Engineer and Scrum Master on retail projects, along with earlier roles as a Software Engineer. Niko began a career in research at Tampere University of Technology, which included the development of mobile-friendly web applications. Niko holds a Master of Science degree in Information Technology from Tampere University of Technology.
