Allie James is a seasoned professional in renewable development with extensive experience in project management and development roles across multiple organizations. Currently serving as Senior Director of Development at Takanock, LLC since September 2025, Allie previously held several positions at Vestas from May 2021 to August 2025, including Senior Regional Manager, Senior Development Manager, and Project Development Manager. Prior experience at Invenergy from September 2017 to May 2021 encompassed roles ranging from Senior Associate to Coordinator in Renewable Development. Allie began a career in sustainability with internships at Invenergy and the City of Boulder Open Space and Mountain Parks, complemented with a Bachelor's degree in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology and Environmental Studies from the University of Colorado Boulder, earned in 2016.
