Mary Pottinger

Mary has worked at Takapuna Grammar School for over 20 years and was originally employed as the Guidance Counsellor. In previous schools she taught English, Social Studies and Drama and was a Dean. Her portfolio is Student Support, which includes the Deans, Guidance, Health Centre, Careers and the Whanau Form Classes. She also oversees the Peer Programmes in the school and runs school assemblies. Mary is passionate about wellbeing, with the aim of ensuring that students and staff look after themselves and each other and she appreciates the level of goodwill and support demonstrated by the entire TGS school community. She teaches Junior French which she loves and she cycles to work twice a week.
