Chrisna Jooste

Chrisna Jooste Ph.D. is an experienced design leader with a robust background in user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design. Current roles include Head of UX at takealot.com since May 2020, where responsibilities involve managing the design team and improving design operations. Previous positions include Design Manager at Prodigy Finance, dHub Design Lead at Liberty Life Insurance, and Design Lead for Big & Small Business Banking at Standard Bank Group, each focused on customer-centric design strategies and research-driven processes. An earlier career in business process and intelligence coordination at AngloAmerican Thermal Coal South Africa laid a foundation in data analysis and reporting. Chrisna holds a Ph.D. in Computer and Information Sciences, along with several other degrees in Information Systems from the University of South Africa.
