Kyle Paulsen CA(SA) has a diverse work experience spanning from 2010 to the present. Kyle started their career as a Finance Head Tutor at the University of Cape Town in 2010. Kyle then worked as an Auditor (SAICA Articles) at EY from 2012 to 2014. Following that, they served as an Assistant Manager - Indirect Tax at EY from 2015 to 2016. From 2016 to 2018, they were a Tax Manager at PEP. In 2018, they joined Mazars in South Africa as a Tax Manager - VAT until 2019. Currently, they are working at takealot.com, where they started as a Financial Manager in 2019 and was promoted to Head of Finance in May 2022.

Kyle Paulsen CA(SA) completed a B.BusSc degree in Finance, Financial Reporting, Taxation, Management Accounting, and Auditing from the University of Cape Town from 2006 to 2009. Kyle then pursued a Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting from the same university in 2011. In 2010, Kyle obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Law in Taxation Law from the University of Cape Town. Later, in 2016 to 2017, they completed an Advanced Diploma in Value-Added Tax at the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika.
