Ainhoa del Romero is a seasoned professional in the pharmaceutical industry with extensive experience in medical information and pharmacovigilance. Currently serving as Sr Director, Head of Global Medical Information at Takeda since July 2019 and at Shire since November 2017, Ainhoa has previously held significant roles at Biogen, Amgen, and Bristol-Myers Squibb, where expertise includes establishing multilingual medical information call centers, developing scalable local services across multiple countries, and ensuring compliant handling of adverse events and product complaints. Ainhoa holds a Master in Pharmacy from Universidad de Alcalá and an MBA in Management and Business Administration of the Pharmaceutical Industry from Talento-EPHOS.
