Alex Russell

Alex Russell has extensive experience in the fields of digital health, venture capital, and business development. Currently serving in Digital Health Partnerships at Takeda since January 2021, Alex also holds the position of Advisor at HealthXL, offering insights and expert commentary on digital health topics. Previous roles include Venture Capitalist at Takeda Digital Ventures, where responsibilities included deal flow and due diligence, and VP of Business Development at Gait Up S.A., leading to a successful exit to MindMaze Holding SA. Alex founded Asta Fluidic Technologies, Inc. and served as a consultant for Medela, while also engaging in research and project management at UC Santa Barbara. Academic qualifications include an EMBA from HEC Paris and multiple degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Technology Entrepreneurship from UC Santa Barbara.
