Carmel Sexton

Carmel Sexton is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in supply chain and operations management. Currently serving as Director of Product Operations at Takeda since October 2015, Carmel drives product strategy and tactical decisions while ensuring brand strategies align with global supply needs. Previously, Carmel held the role of Director of External Site Operations at Takeda, overseeing contract manufacturers for drug production and packaging. Additional experience includes supply chain roles at DePuy Ireland and Caltex, as well as leading procurement strategies at DHL Global Business Services, managing significant budgets across various business units. Carmel holds a Master of Business in Operations and Supply Chain from the University of Technology Sydney and a Bachelor's degree from the University of Limerick.
