Carmen Castrillo-Viguera

Carmen Castrillo-Viguera is a seasoned medical professional with significant experience in clinical development and medical affairs. Currently, Carmen serves as the Sr. Medical Director for Clinical Development at Takeda. Prior roles include Sr. Medical Director for Alzheimer's disease clinical development and Medical Director in late-stage clinical development at Biogen, as well as Director of Medical Affairs. Carmen has also held positions such as Associate Director and Medical Manager at Biogen Idec and Biogen Idec Iberia, respectively. Additionally, Carmen was a Visiting Fellow at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine, with a focus on Neurology, and an MD in Medicine from Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
