Christopher Raj

Christopher Raj is an experienced professional in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors, currently serving as the Data Governance & Access Lead and Associate Director of Scientific & Competitive Intelligence at Takeda since June 2017. In this role, Christopher oversees scientific, competitive, and deal intelligence across various therapeutic areas, including Oncology, Neuroscience, GI, and Rare Diseases, as well as different modalities such as Cell Therapy and Gene Editing. Prior to Takeda, Christopher held significant positions at Biogen, where responsibilities included Sr. Information Research Scientist/Lead for Search & Analytics, and at Vertex Pharmaceuticals, contributing to Scientific Intelligence and R&D Strategy, as well as Drug Discovery Biology. Christopher's academic credentials include a Master of Business Administration in Finance & Innovation from the Rady School of Management at the University of California, San Diego, and a Master of Science in Biotechnology with a focus on Immunology from the University of the West of England.
