Echoe Bouta

Echoe Bouta is a seasoned professional in corporate development and life sciences, currently serving as Transaction Lead in Neuroscience and Global Chemistry Business Development at Takeda since November 2022. Previously, Echoe held the position of Associate Director of Corporate Development at Ironwood Pharmaceuticals, where responsibilities included leading cross-functional teams in identifying and executing business opportunities. Prior experience encompasses roles as Senior Manager at Outcome Capital, focusing on strategic and financial advisory services for M&A and capital raises, and as a Post-doctoral Research Fellow at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School, with research centered on lymphatic transport in immune function. Echoe earned a Ph.D. and a Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Rochester, following a Bachelor of Science in the same field from Michigan Technological University.
