Ivan Bilic

Ivan Bilic is a seasoned professional in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical sectors, currently serving as Senior Director of Research Development at Takeda since January 2019. With extensive experience in immune biomarker discovery and development, Ivan has held leadership roles at Shire, where responsibilities included directing research and managing teams focused on clinical biomarker assay development and patient stratification. Prior positions included managerial roles in R&D at Baxalta and significant research contributions at CeMM Research Center for Molecular Medicine and Akron Molecules AG. Bolstered by a PhD in Molecular Immunology and Genetics from the University of Vienna and additional degrees from the University of Zagreb, Ivan combines a strong academic background with a proven track record in cross-functional product development and regulatory communication.
