John Furfey

John Furfey is an experienced professional in data analytics and library information science with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as Manager of Data Analytics at Takeda since February 2022, John has also held roles as Senior Information Specialist within the same organization. Prior to this, John worked at Massachusetts Maritime Academy for 17 years as an Electronic Resources Specialist. Additional experience includes positions such as Scholarly Communications Librarian and Senior Automation Services Officer at Marine Biological Laboratory, as well as roles at Wheaton College Massachusetts and Boston College Law School. John began a career in web development at SF Interactive. Academic achievements include a Master of Science in Library and Information Science from Simmons University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Colgate University.
