John McNulty

John McNulty possesses extensive experience in the field of drug safety and research evaluation. Currently serving as the Head of Enabling Sciences at Takeda since January 2019, John has held multiple leadership roles within the company, including Team Leader and Nonclinical Safety Therapeutic Lead for Rare Disease. Prior to Takeda, John worked at Shire as the Director of Non-Clinical Safety and spent eight years at AstraZeneca as Associate Director of Non-Clinical Safety. John began a career in toxicology at Schering-Plough Research Institute as a Toxicologist. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Biological Chemistry with a focus on Toxicology from the University of Connecticut and a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Central Connecticut State University.
